Name Headings

Name a Single Heading

1. In the Heading names data grid of the Setup Development > Names tab, select Show only canvas selection.
2. In the 3D Canvas, locate the heading you want to name.

Note: You can use the 3D Canvas modes, visibility tools, or indirect selection tools to make it easier to locate the heading of interest.

3. In the Heading names data grid, click the Name column.
4. Type the new name.

The name is changed.

Name a Group of Headings

1. In the Heading names data grid of the Setup Development > Names tab, select Show only canvas selection.

2. In the 3D Canvas, locate the headings you want to name.
3. Select the headings you want to name using box selection or by holding CTRL and clicking each heading.
4. In the Heading names data grid, select all rows.
5. Click the Name column for any selected row.
6. Type the new name.

GEOVIA MineSched automatically assigns a unique name to all selected rows by appending a unique number to the heading name you have typed.
